Gabe Perreault was still on the board when the #NHLJets picked Colby Barlow at No. 18 in 2023. Perreault -- taken 5 spots later by New York -- has 1G, 1A tonight and 7G, 10A in 32 NHL games this year. Barlow has yet to play an NHL game. He has 3G, 5A in 46 AHL games this year.

Well yeah the letter was just very clearly a way to say "Hey look, I have a plan!" after the "Fire Drury" chants started. And it backfired cause: 1. It was always gonna get compared to Letter 1.0 2. It got everyone's imaginations rolling on trades
