Total cutie. Incomplete for me, but im sure I could find some of those bits in my bins. Round, huggable, slightly fragile, worthy build.

My sibby got me a built Lego Bumblebee for my bday, and since I wanted to tear it down to rebuild myself anyway, I thought I’d take a detour through @RansomFern’s brilliant BBM alt build! So here’s a brief gallery of this excellent design.

@Toothdominoes The way the forearms are built looks to allow the elbow another click! Quite an easy modification to do on my own and it is quite exciting that both knees and elbows on the final model can still push past 90!

Then it was down to trying to make a mech that was smaller than the Cole Dragon Titan Mech but with as much of the articulation as possible. I built new hips, thigh rotation and ankles. This design eventually evolved into the piston based ankle you see today.

I’ll talk a bit about my involvement with the #Ninjago Legends: Monstrosity sets. I worked on the Fire Knight mech. Initially, it was gonna be Jay’s. I started off exploring a Ninjago mech with more of a knight aesthetic. I did a bunch of these sketches before I started building.
