One of my favorite things to do: Classroom in the Hallway! Rockets 🚀 co- constructed our ant display based on the book, “Hey, Little Ant.” We voted to squish or save the ant. Our ants will live to see another day 🤣 @PTAHMES @HollinMeadowsES @HMprincipal @lisaannlin2014

The best part of the day was 1st grade reading their non-fiction writing to kindergarten. We even saw some former rockets! 🚀 @HMprincipal @PTAHMES @lisaannlin2014

Best Fun Fantastic Friday Ever: we extended our exploration of Groundhog Day with surprise visit from a groundhog puppet from the Pre-k class! Rockets made hats, watched videos, read books and completed interactive writing. @HMprincipal @HollinMeadowsES @PTAHMES @lisaannlin2014

The Best Part of my Day: Voting with the rockets! 🚀 We “campaigned” by discussing the pros & cons of apples vs. pumpkins. We used name tags for ID, cast our ballots privately, tallied the results and watched the polls. . . It’s apples! 🍎🍏🍎🍏@PTAHMES @HMprincipal
