PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO FLUSH WATER MAINS The Village of Rantoul Public Works Department will begin flushing water mains from April 27, 2026 through May 15, 2026. Flushing of the system will occur on Monday through Friday during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Due to forecasted weather conditions—rain showers, high winds, and turbulence—tomorrow's Young Eagles Flight Rally has been cancelled (04/18) The cancellation is for the safety of all participants and pilots Please spread the word to anyone who may have been planning to attend.

Expect heavier than usual traffic on roads near the sports complex this weekend. Please plan ahead, drive safely, and allow a little extra time if you're traveling through the area. Signs and barricades will be in place South Murray Rd past Stone Bridge will have limited access
