my irl friend brought his entire setup over once when we were having a sleepover, he showed up at like 6pm with his tower, giant 4:3 monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a backpack full of cords. my entire family still makes jokes to this day about it, but it was one of my most fond memories.
we played runescape, line rider, browsed niche forums, and listened to scary kids scaring kids. there is something special about the internet that has been lost in the last 15 years. i dont know if we will ever be able to capture it again.
i dont know if it even still exists.
