@dr_bandak Side note. I think the President was also heavy on worrying tired wives to make meals late at night... 😂

We don't want People to walk away thinking that a bowl of healthy food at 8 p.m. is inherently worse than a large, unhealthy meal at 6:30 p.m. That is not how metabolism works. What is eaten, how much is eaten, and how close to sleep it is eaten all matter. There is no high-level evidence for a universal rule that everyone should stop eating heavy meals after 7 p.m. The better-supported point is narrower: Large late meals, especially close to BEDTIME, can worsen glucose handling in some people. Clinical guidance is usually framed as avoiding meals within 2–3 hours of bedtime, rather than a single fixed clock time for an entire population. Timing matters. But so do total calories, meal size, diet quality, activity, and bedtime. A better public-health message would be: ✓ Eat earlier when practical. ✓ Avoid large meals close to bedtime. ✓ Pay attention to total calories, portion size, meal quality, activity, and sleep timing.

@__Sharyf Gloves for what? When I see vendors wearing loves to serve food I wonder what exactly that seeks to achieve because it's definitely not the customer. Gloves are primary made to protect the one wearing them not the one being attended too..

I am at this spot right now and the server is wearing gloves… but I have been watching for 30 minutes. Same gloves to serve like 6 customers, pick bottles, prepare food, open the storeroom, open jars……even crossing hands in between. At this point, is it hygiene or just vibes?

To respond to mad man Trump on behalf of his holiness, Pope Leo; 1. Trump and Israel organised the protests in Iran to overthrow the government. They armed protesters with guns. Trump admitted to this. Iran says around 3,000 people died. America has changed the number from 12,000 to 20,000 and now 45,000. So obviously we know who is lying. The point is the protesters who died, are on Trump’s hands. If he did not organise the protests and armed the protestors, those people would be alive. 2. America has a nuclear weapon and is the only country who has ever nuked another country in history. It is not Iran that is a threat with a nuclear weapon. It is America. If America can have nuclear weapons, so can any country in the world. No one appointed America the world police!

“Every day I wake up, I pray for Nigeria and say, ‘God, let Nigeria get its act together.’” — President John Dramani Mahama, during his speech at the African Heritage Awards 2026, delivered a stirring message on the importance of unity and innovation in driving Africa toward a prosperous future. He expressed his hope that Nigeria attains greater prosperity so that its citizens do not have to come to Ghana in search of opportunities. [🎥: jokacetv_productions]

President John Mahama has today announced that the Government of Ghana has decided to introduce a free visa regime for all Africans who wish to visit Ghana. The new policy takes effect on May 25, a day which is commemorated as Africa Day. President Mahama made the declaration during the inaugural State Visit of President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe to Ghana. Ghana seeks to consolidate its credentials as the cradle of Pan-Africanism even as it expects a major boost in tourism and intra-African trade by this groundbreaking reform. The Free Visa for Africans would be a component of a new e-Visa policy the Mahama Administration is launching next month. President Mahama also assured that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would continue with its intentional and determined effort at securing more Visa Waiver Agreements for Ghanaian passport holders. Since last year, 23 Visa Waiver Agreements have been negotiated for Ghanaians. For God, Country and Continent.

“In 2.5 years” “Mahama is leaving office anyways so let’s amass the wealth” They’ve been in opposition for eight solid years and many of the leading members in the party had to incur debt to campaign. They need to take a whole lot to recover, take a whole lot to be satisfied and take a whole lot to get enough money for the 2028 campaign season because mind you they have to hold intensive private campaigns for election of new flagbearer then do more active tours to introduce the new flagbearer. Final year, people will just start slacking and that’s when Ghanaians will lose it because; 1. Galamsey was probably not solved 2. Oral was not effective against every corrupt personnel. 3. The national cathedral scandal was not addressed 4. The lgbt Bill was not passed 5. 24 hour economy was not achieved 6. Some MPs and ministers became too comfortable and condescending to Ghanaians.

Many people might not believe this but... In 2023, I was packed into a police Danfo during a random raid in Jos, Plateau state. I was trekking for an all night session in school. They drove us to the station, seized our phones, and told everyone to sit on the bare floor behind the counter. The IPO in his faded uniform brought out rumpled sheets of paper and shouted ''Criminals remove your shoes make una write una statement for here'' I tried to look at the guys beside me who were sweating and writing things like "I am just walking and police catch me abeg I am a student." Another guy with a torn shirt was writing, "I swear to God I am not a cultist, I only went to buy indomie and egg, my mother is a widow." One particular guy was literally dropping tears on his paper, writing, "I don't smoke loud, I have CHM 101 test tomorrow morning, please have mercy in Jesus name." I knew my family did not have 50k for any emergency bail. So I sat on that cold floor, balanced the paper on my knee, and activated the ''Femi Falana'' in me (small HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MUDER was giving me confidence). I did not write a plea o. I wrote a chronological, legally terrifying timeline of my abduction. I used phrases like "unlawful detainment," "absence of probable cause," and "infringement of fundamental liberties." I made sure my handwriting was looking like a typed font🤲🏾 Thirty minutes later, the DPO walked in to inspect the night's harvest. He was biting the edge of a pure water sachet when he started reading the statements one by one, tossing them aside. Then he picked up my paper. He read the first paragraph, stopped, and looked at the crowd on the floor. He read it again. I was already preparing my mind for Cell One, the one with Mosquitoes that trained in Afghanistan. I was entirely convinced my grammar had angered him. The DPO looked at the IPO and said, "Who write this thing?" The IPO pointed at me. The DPO told me to stand up and follow him to his office. At that point, I wished I wrote my statement in Hausa😭 I entered the room, sweating like cold water. He sat down, dropped the paper on his desk, and said, "So, you sabi write English like this and you dey waka late night?" He opened his drawer and brought out a massive stack of dirty files. He complained that the station's secretary had been sick for three days and they had a massive backlog of official reports to send to the Area Commander. I did not enter the cell that night. I sat in a perfectly air-conditioned office from 11 PM to 4 AM, actively ghostwriting police reports, restructuring suspect confessions, and formatting legal petitions for the Nigerian Police Force. By 5 AM, the DPO gave me 15k cash for a job well done, bought me a plate of white rice, and ordered the patrol van to drive me safely to my hostel with full escorts. If you are currently smiling at this beautiful grass-to-grace story, I want you to know that you just read several heavy paragraphs of pure, undiluted fiction. I have never been arrested in my life. I am currently on my bed eating bread and egg. But like the original tweet said, proper articulation solves 75% of your problems. The remaining 25% is knowing how to lie fluently to farm engagement on this app. Happy Sunday.
