@Life0Mang0 @godofavatar From what we've seen, Azula has always had a good relationship with Ozai. They are the father daughter team of Avatar, they are on the same type of wavelength in thinking. The only thing I remember from the live action is that you see Ozai training her

@Raphaelmaster9 @godofavatar Taking away character flaws for one leaving no room for development or depth (Aang not running away and instead intending to come back in the LA, taking away sokkas misogyny in the beginning etc) Azula not having blue fire (+ her relationship with Ozai) Kataras entire character

@fwmann1e But he wasn't sabotaging Zuko's efforts. When they were in the south pole, him and Zuko tried to shoot him down. If he didn't ask Zuko to stop at the port to find the tile, then they wouldn't have found the Avatar there. He actually never sabotaged Zuko in season 1.

Do you think Zuko ever realized that Iroh was sabotaging him the whole time in Season 1? Because he always accidentally helped the Gaang escape or pushed them off course. Like, there’s no way he didn’t know his lotus tile was in his sleeve

@WestResists @HMBohemond The Imperium are obviously the good guys, but there's really nothing wrong with liking Chaos. For example I'm an Imperial through and through, I Love The Emperor, beloved by all, and I think he did nothing wrong. He's my favourite, but Erebus is also one of my favourites

@Raphaelmaster9 @RGuillimanXIII @MALUM_CAEDOW40k that would be the most topical, as they are the ones present in the media. They aren't actually that bad though, and like everyone else I wanted to stab Leandros in the eye for violating the laws of his own chapter.

@RisewireDaily Katara apparently did not contribute to the growth and development of Republic City, to the extent that Aang, Zuko, Sokka, and Toph did. She seemed to be more focused on the Southern Water tribe, which is understandable as it was such a backwater place

Aang ended the 100 year war. Zuko is Firelord. toph was the first metal bender and first chief of police. Sokka was the chairman of the Republic city council. As far as we know Katara did not have any groundbreaking feats, achievement or public services. Mention one if otherwise?

Depends on the medium. Everyone knows Marneus Calgar, who I used to hate even more, but now that he is actually mad that he is no longer the big boy of his chapter he is demonstrating character depth. The dumb shit that the writers allowed him to get away with effectively cheapened the entire setting. Gulliman doesn't reall count, it's too easy to poke at. *Deep inhale* VARRO TIGuRIUS. I shouldn't have to go further than him. Obviously these are the memes, but they are memes for a reason as they have set the stereotype for the whole chapter. We could talk about video game characters too if you like.

@Wafel_2 @shas_kais So you believe a Calgar or a Grimnar should lose to a Farsight? Do keep in mind that they are the least powerful major faction and the youngest too. They shouldn't be nerfed of course but they aren't sending nobodies to take him down. It was the greatest Astartes that did it

Been a while since the last time T'au posting happened. Let's change that! You know how vaunted the Space Marines are. It's said that due to their mental conditioning and elevation, they are capable of processing combat data and reacting to the battlefield conditions far faster than baseline humans. Coupled with the teaching of their Primarchs, this supposedly makes them masters of warfare. But then the T'au come in. More than once, marines were shown to have met their match when fighting against members of the Fire Caste. For example, here a T'au Shas'Ui was set against a Raven Guard Shadow Captain. Check the pictures. Forcing a Shadow Captain's admission that a young Ui (the T'au equivalent of a sergeant) is his match is an insane feat. A soldier of barely a couple of decades of life, if we are being generous, he could be younger; not only matched a Space Marine leader who has centuries of battle experience, but he also managed to thwart him and win the battle. RIP Starshroud. Your legendary service to the T'au'va will be remembered.

@NavisNobelite @RGuillimanXIII @MALUM_CAEDOW40k The story doesn't try to make him seem like he's in the right compared to other Astartes that oppose his behaviour, so it doesn't let him get away with it. He's honestly my favourite Astartes in 40k, other than one or two ChapterMasters, and he's terribly interesting

@NavisNobelite @RGuillimanXIII @MALUM_CAEDOW40k I believe Cato's character and writing makes up for the bulk of bad writing his books may have had during that time. His character is unique among named Astartes, and he is very capable in his role. He has flaws that aren't ignored by his battle brothers and others in the story &

Full honesty, Cato is just another Ultramarine self insert gary stu. Like much of the writing that survived through the "spiritual liege" Matt Ward era, Cato became an insufferable character partially due to the dreadful writing but mostly the greatest cancer of 40k, the Marine Ultrafan.

@Wafel_2 @shas_kais He isn't a basic Space Marine tho He's arguably the best Astartes under 1000 yrs Unless by basic you mean baseline (no great cybernetics, no psykic power, no magical artifacts like the Wolves, or dark age technology in his arsenal) if that's what you mean then yes he is baseline.
