A huge day for Post 60!! STATE SEMIFINAL: East Grand Forks 6 GR 8 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP: Shakopee 13 GR 9 GR led 9-8 with two outs in the top of 7 but couldn't hold on vs a powerful Shakopee team. GR now advances to the Central Plains Regional in Fargo on Wednesday!!

Final from St. Michael Gm 1 New Ulm 9 GR 7 Gm 2 New Ulm 0 GR 3 Great pitching by Morgan & J. Dick and defense. Next up: State semifinal vs East Grand Forks 10 am in St. Michael. Win and advance to state championship game and a regional!

2nd Rd State Tournament GR 2 Alexandria 0 Sam Dick threw a gem and Caleb Gunderson had a huge 2 out 3b in the 1st. Next up: Finals of the Gold Pool!! Have to win 1 of 2 from New Ulm 12:30 pm Saturday in St. Michael to advance to Final Four & a shot at a Regional berth.

Final from the State Tournament Hutchinson 12 GR 13 GR shows a lot of GRit and walks off Hutch in the bot of 7. Next up: vs Alexandria at 2:30 pm at St. Michael Varsity Field.

GAME DAY!! Grand Rapids vs Hutchinson 3 pm at St. Michael Lower Rec 1st round 2025 Minnesota American Legion State Tournament!!

Congratulations to the Substate 9 Champions. An 8-3 win over Hibbing puts them into the state tournament starting Thursday at 3pm in St. Michael!!

Updated Substate 9 bracket. Lakeview and Hibbing play at 1 pm for the right to challenge Grand Rapids for the championship right after that.

NO HITTER ALERT!! Final from the BOB: Grand Rapids 4 Hibbing 0 Caleb Gunderson threw a complete game NO HITTER w/ 7 K's!! A. Lamppa, S. Dick, and Wegwerth all had 2 hits. GR now advances to the championship game on Sunday but plays Sat night at 6 pm vs Lakeview.

Substate 9 Updated bracket. Grand Rapids will face Hibbing at 6:00 pm tonight at Bob Streetar Field.
