We are aware of the issues with the lights not working on the lane up to Sainsbury’s including the wall coming away. We have been informed by @StirlingCouncil that this is owned by Sainsbury’s and maintenance is their responsibility. The manager has been contacted.

@Raploch_CC @StirlingCouncil @sainsburys The Salvation Army path lights stopped working after the road at the Sainsburys end was extended. From what I remember they are no longer connected to any supply. My guess is that the cables were cut when the path was extended

@kt33uk @StirlingCouncil @sainsburys Hi Lesley, we have escalated this to head office, local councillors are involved. Hopefully the more we keep on @sainsburys they will take action for our local community. We will walk up the other path and make the same recommendations. Thank you. (Rubbish will also be cleared)

@Raploch_CC @StirlingCouncil the lights on both paths haven't worked for over 5 years. My son gave up complaining to @sainsburys about this problem years ago because nobody cared. The narrow path is very dark and is constantly flooded due to not being maintained.

Update from @StirlingCouncil on the Walk, Cycle, Live Stirling Project Raploch Road Section along to @FVCollege is anticipated to be complete by the end of the Summer. New crossings will be put in place to make it safer to cross. walkcyclelivestirling.commonplace.is
