Another nice movie example from @bogdan_lab of ther recent publication Rötte, Höhne et al. in JCellBiol using the @RappOpto caliburn #photomanipulation laser device for cell wounding
Journal of Cell Biology@JCellBiol

Rötte, Höhne et al. @bogdan_lab @Uni_MR highlight an important role of CYRI as a molecular brake on Rac-WRC-Arp2/3 pathway to slow down epidermal wound closure and to limit invasive collective epithelial cell #migration. hubs.la/Q02VSpJ-0 #Development #motility

📢Exciting news! My PhD work, supervised by @JgrosL, has just been published in @Nature. Thanks to all the co-authors! 📄In this study, we (re)explored a longstanding question in developmental biology: why, when a chick embryo is cut in half during gastrulation, each half can still develop into a fully formed embryo (see📽️ below). Our findings highlight the pivotal role that tissue mechanics plays in driving this remarkable process. Check out the pre-print Xorial and enjoy the read! ⬇️ nature.com/articles/s4158…
