Gonna play this now, funnily enough i bought it yesterday just to get it running then refunded it and today it was 80% on steam lmao, it wont boot unless its set to 4k 🤣🤣🤣

First early, honest, spoiler free impressions of Crimson Desert 👀 Played a few hours yesterday while being pretty tired, so I will continue today and see how things evolve. 1. The MMO DNA is very obvious ‼️ You can clearly feel that the game was originally designed as an MMO. Some players will probably be disappointed because several systems feel like they come straight from that genre. As a result, the quality of certain elements is below what you would expect from a top tier single player game. 2. Visually stunning 🔥 The game looks incredible. The draw distance is wild and I often find myself stopping just to look at the scenery. 3. Story is okay so far 🧐 Nothing groundbreaking yet. The MMO structure makes quests feel less significant and more functional. I am not sure how I will feel about it later, but right now it is just okay. 4. Soundtrack is promising 👌🏻 I already heard two tracks that I really liked. Curious to see if the music keeps this quality or gets even better later on. 5. The open world feels alive and visually it is structured in a really beautiful way 😍 The mix of fantasy and sci fi builds on that foundation and gives the world a distinct atmosphere. 6. Combat and controls feel clunky 😏 Not as smooth as I expected. The combat has a slightly heavy and unresponsive feel that makes it harder to get into a proper flow right now, and the overall controls feel very rough on top of that. 👉🏼 What’s next I am going to continue playing today and I really hope the parts I didn’t like improve as I get deeper into the game. I will update you guys as I go. These are early impressions, so the game might get much better later. If you have any questions let me know!
