@CrimsonDesert_ Thanks for the update, there is one thing I've noticed (it's in version 1.06.01, but I have not seen it addressed in current patch notes): pets (specifically birds) fail to pick up loot unless I stand right on top of it, which defeats the gameplay point of pets.

@CrimsonDesert_ When weapon sheaths are always enabled but weapons are set to show only selected, sheaths are still visible even when the weapon is hidden. Also Elegant Carmine Armour is censored.

@CrimsonDesert_ Also... Even semi official mod support would be nice. Since you are updating the game regularly and most updates break mods, it is quite frustrating waiting for mods to be updated as well and then reinstalling them.

@CrimsonDesert_ Thank you for the updates and continued support. Would you consider "immersive" mode with greatly reduced UI? Hide/show map etc at a press of a button, like in RDR2 for example.

Such schemes only work in a high trust society. We have not been one of them for a very long time. Strangers from around the world do not produce high trust - they do not even produce cohesive societies.

@AjKallel1 @Pirat_Nation It has this ultra annoying mechanic where the game pauses "for dramatic effect" on parrys and power attacks and such, which completely breaks the flow of combat. Granted, it's not as bad as hit-stop where this pause happens on every hit, but still it's it extremely distracting.

Ubisoft is expanding its Assassin’s Creed remake plans beyond the recently announced Black Flag Resynced According to leaker at least one additional title from the series is already in active development as a full remake, with more potentially following based on how well the first one sells. Black Flag Resynced, the modernized version of Assassin’s Creed IV, is scheduled to launch on July 9, 2026 focused on single-player storytelling, with the original DLC and multiplayer modes left out at launch. If they sell good with Black Flag could open the door to remakes of other fan-favorite games from the franchise’s early days, personally would like the remake of Assassins Creed 2 by far the best story in the series

Also, government spending is included in GDP, so people can be eating dirt, but when every politician buys a private jet, the economy is booming.

@vivovinco If I build a massive server room next to your house and it stinks up the place. Then I hire 1000 indians to work there, causing prices in the area to rise. Im very sure the economy of your city will rise dramaticaly but you wont be better off for it.

The thing that people do not understand about Japanese, is not that they don't pirate or they don't break the law. Is that if they DO break the law they don't brag about it in public. To see someone breaking the law and encouraging others to break it is pure savagery from their pov. You cannot have a society with delinquents, you get california.

It's the same strategy as the one used by consulting groups pushing MoDeRn AuDiEnCe crap: They invent a problem (piracy/representation), then they sell you a solution (their product). It doesn't really add value to the game, but looks good on shareholder reports ("we invested in sales protection and/or ESG initiatives")

Pragmata launched with Denuvo, and many legitimate buyers on Linux and Steam Deck cannot play the game they paid for. The problem is Denuvo’s strict 5-machine activation limit per 24 hours. Every time you change Proton version, enable a launch option, or tweak settings like DLSS or ray tracing, it registers as a new PC and quickly locks you out. “Currently your game purchase cannot be re-validated successfully, please wait 24 hours and try again.” Users who tested different Protons on launch day are now stuck for a full day. One review: preordered months ago, but on release day the limit hit while trying to get the game running. Pirates played the full version days before buyers. The same Denuvo that failed to stop early cracks is now blocking paying customers who simply wanted to optimize performance. Windows users with stable setups report fewer problems, but Linux/Proton users are heavily affected. If you are on Linux: choose one Proton version and do not switch.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm missing something, but writing and dialogue in DS was abysmal - I tried the game twice and on both occasions I quit after a few hours. World's worst UI didn't help either. Kojima's work has always struck me as a bit cringe, so I may be biased here, but it sounds like he got high on his own farts "recently" and it's now infecting others.

12000 Brits are packing their bags and leaving the UK each week. Most are ‘wealthy’. Wealth does not give you health, friends or love, it gives you choices and one of those choices is where you live and pay tax, Many of those who can are leaving the UK due to Gov policies.
