The Raptors pursued a deal for Jaren Jackson Jr. at the trade deadline with a package around three first-round picks before the All-Star big man was sent to Utah, per @michaelgrange. Toronto should be increasingly active on the trade market once again this summer.

But if theres an upgrade to be made, i dont think his contract will be seen as negative

@michaelgrange Poeltl, IQ, and Ingram all have above-market-value contracts.
But, Ingram’s only having 1 more year plus 1 player option seems like it could be an asset as expiring money plus a productive player.

If I'm correct in my assumption then I understood that from the beginning. If not then it isn't clear to anyone but yourself.

My thoughts on this summer
1- Dont think a Jak deal exists, hope he can rehab and get back to playable
2- extend RJ but need a hometown discount (see 1)
3-thats it, run it back, still think IQ is a great fit for scottie, see at the deadline what can be done
