This Orange-crowned #Warbler came to us after a window collision and was able to be released just a few hours later! You can make simple changes at home, like adding decals or making windows more visible, to help prevent collisions and keep birds safe. #helping #WindowCollision

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Otus, our beloved Western Screech Owl ambassador. Otus helped us connect visitors to the incredible world of owls. He will be deeply missed by our staff, volunteers, and all who had the chance to meet him.

Meet Narwhal, a Great Horned Owl, who was left him with a fractured wing after a vehicle collision. Although he healed, his flight is no longer silent enough for hunting, making life in the wild impossible. #wildlifeconservation #owls #GreatHornedOwl

Back in March, heavy snow prevented our usual fish pickup. Luckily, our #friends at Fortress of the Bear stepped in to help transport a fresh fish delivery, ensuring our #BaldEagle patients didn’t miss a meal. We’re incredibly #grateful to have such wonderful community partners!

Meet Bruiser, a #BaldEagle who arrived unable to fly due to rodenticide poisoning. After treatment and supportive care, he made a strong recovery and was released back into the wild! #Rodenticides can unintentionally harm wildlife when predators consume poisoned prey. #wildlife

@ladyofthefire Since Bald Eagles are extremely mobile, and go where ever the fish takes them, we can release our Bald Eagle patience here in town. From here, they will easily make their way back to wherever they want!
