Hi everyone, though we're still busy with coding for Baldur's Village, we've made time for a Q&A to address some FAQs. We hope this helps those who follow and love the mod. Thanks to everyone always supporting us. We're just a fan group of Asian famales working across different countries and time zones. Despite limited time and coordination challenges, we're enjoying the process thanks to our love for both games. --- ** How Did We Choose the Characters' Story Branches? ** For characters like Astarion, the reason we chose the current endings is simple: we prefer these endings. These endings also offer more unresolved issues and story potential for further story dev. We won’t provide spoilers, as we want players to discover these stories themselves. Our goal is to keep the storylines and world clear and accessible, so that even those unfamiliar with BG3 can enjoy the mod. --- ** The content of the first version? ** We will release all origin chars. Since the setting is post-BG3, some chars will appear from the start, while others will need to be unlocked as players progress. We have special designs for the unlockable chars, which will be added and refined in future updates. We hope players will explore and discover these on their own. If you saw our first updates in April, you’d notice the four houses were designed for the six origin chars and Halsin without considering these three. Most secondary chars, like Alfira and Rolan, appear occasionally and don’t need dedicated houses. However, this isn't set in stone. If we add them in the future, we may need to expand the map, design new houses, or find other ways to include them. --- **When Will Voting for Marriageable Chars and Their Storylines Open?** Creating events has proven to be more challenging than expected. The cost of making a marriageable origin chars with events is very high: even for just a one-minute story, we've gone through multiple revisions, developing these chars takes significantly more time than side chars. - Current Plan: Once the art and code for all origin chars are done, they'll be available in the game with dialogues and schedules, but no personal events or marriage options. - Voting Timeline: After this, we'll consider adding new events and marriageable chars based on DLs and donations. If targets are met, we'll open voting for players to choose their favorite chars on Patreon and prioritize event development. For updates, follow us on Patreon or Ko-fi. --- ** Future Update Plans ** - November: The first version with all origin charas, one marriageable character. - Bug fixes, new items, and other unique content. - Origin charas events and marriage options will be based on feedback and crowdfunding, with order determined by voting. --- ** Can I Play It on an Existing Save? ** Yes, but we recommend a new save for a smoother experience. --- ** Will There Be Translations into Other Languages Besides Mandarin and English? ** It depends on volunteers.
