Later Ajoy Mukherjee became CM of West Bengal. Sushil and Satish Babu became MP after Independence. Read about them

@Rarheswar bargir = hindavi swarajya soldier who's horse and weapons are state-provided pindari = some mercenary freelancers hired by swarajya armies to act as mercenaries deeds of pindari is not act of main swarajya army. Bargir is honorific badge. Pindari is not.

@Kal_Chiron And for RSS, my mama who is from the same land where dolmadol was fired has been a swayamsevak for 4 decades. He has done works all over India and the present prant sanghchalak of South Bengal is actually his friend. There's no place for a Bargi sympathiser here

Lodu.. Sangh Swayamsevaks from all over India have been literally living in WB mobilizing cadres and public.. It was sanghi PM and his Sanghi Home Minister who had to deploy 2.5 lakh troops (Hindu again) to enable fair election where Bengali Hindus could vote in peace. It was Bengali RSS swayamsevaks who bled and fought. ye Sutiyape band karo and lets clean Bengal together. Lot of dirt to clean of 50 years. And before you open you mouth again, RSS = Swarajya. Simple... It is not a parochial organization. Bengali Sangh Swayamsevaks are also Swarajya warriors (bargis if you like).

No, Bishnupur & Bhurishrestha kingdoms continued to rule for centuries. Tbh there are almost nil Sultanate era inscriptions from areas ruled by those dynasties. Not to forget Baro bhuianyas & Raja Sitaram Ray although their reign was short lived compared to former 2 dynasties.
