@TBYSTweet while I agree this issue hits ALMOST every AI there's one exception. Perplexity. It fundamentally changed my outlook on fact checked responses, it actually cites the sources and isn't spilling junk from it's 2 year old training like chat-gpt. Give it a shot

I think it was some guy from Nvidia on the Joe Rogan podcast who said that in 3 years AI will be taking over education. As someone who is not mentally retarded, I honestly find this to be quite concerning because of how frequently wrong AI is in it's fact checking/research conclusions. This has not noticeably improved since AI was popularized several years ago. Sure AI has vastly improved at making a short film of Will Smith eating spaghetti and there are many things it is really useful for. However, there are also certain places where corporate executives are most certainly overselling AI and personally I think that these might actually be limitations of the current way that AI works and not something that will be vastly improved in a few years. That being said, kids are being poorly educated enough through the US educational system. Please do not make that worse.
