Got distracted making a mock up with a top charging handle and vertical foregrip. A sort of prototype/predecessor to the R28, the R26 maybe

@SSTFcreations It's fine the mag doesn't rock out like an AK so there's just enough clearance.

@RatelSix The closeness between the vertical grip and magazine worries me

@Arbiter5333 It's a fictional design chambered in 7.7x33mm. So essentially a gas piston Thompson in 8mm kurz.

@Panzerfan93 I have seen them. An intermediate cartridge FG42 would have been nice. I'll probably end up posting some of the prototypes here at some point.

@RatelSix Have you seen the FG42 clones? They are cool as. But they also make me mad, since we went for the G3 Bolt clone with the overengineerd rifle grenades

@LumMagnum Yeah I'd say. Doesn't look like it can be converted the same as a normal Stoner 63. Also only has 25 round mag capacity because 5.6mm is thick. I love prototype Swiss firearms.

@BleepBloope_ Yeah it's a 5.56 alternative that Switzerland was messing with when replacing the SG 510. They tested a couple of weapons with it.
