This call is worse than the batted ball vs. Seattle or the Jim Schwartz challenge or the picked up flag vs. Dallas in the playoffs or the Calvin Johnson rule. In magnitude, perhaps not since playoffs weren't at stake. But in sheer incompetency, this one might take the cake.

The Ref usually speaks over the loud speaker and tells the stadium (and Defense) who reports eligible. Do we have the audio?

Decker tried to quietly report to the head ref, hoping not to draw attention to himself and alert the Cowboys. But his reporting was not acknowledged, making Skipper, who caught the pass, ineligible. Incredible break for the Cowboys, who came very close to losing a third straight

Doug did you share the same sentiment when Brian Kelly left Notre Dame when there was a still a chance they might’ve gotten into the playoffs? What about all the coordinators this year that left during bowl prep? I don’t hear a single word about coaches leaving for more money or better situations. The same coaches that sit on the couches of the players parents, look them in the eye and say, “I will take care of your son.” Can you help me understand why this doesn’t seem to be an issue for people but players opting out is?
