I figured I'd post what I've been up to. I've been working on my passion project sim and refurbishing my old trains, I'm currently working on my Renfe 440R/470. I'm trying to go all out detail-wise, nowhere near done yet, I'm working on the bogies atm. #BlenderDev #ROBLOXDev

Merry Christmas everyone. The old Rivarossi Polar Express retired to make way for my new custom Bachmann one, made in April 2025. She has quite a few stories to tell, even survived a drop to the floor (Telltale sign is the crooked pilot.) Sound file is from @TrainStorm1225.

@SMcdevil @TrainStorm1225 If you're "This Boring Modern World", yeah. The reason you got yelled at is likely because high speed trains in Spain have security checks and they don't let you on the platform until the train arrives Sants track 7 is decent for taking pictures of the HSTs however.

@RaulTrainzGamer @TrainStorm1225 Are you the guy who follows me on YT? Do you live in Catalonia? My experience in catalonia having an hour layover at Barcelona Sants on my way to Lyon and getting yelled at for trying to get back to the platform to take railfan photos. Sants is worse than NY Penn Station LOL.

@SMcdevil Yeah, back then the prices were quite a bit higher, I know tales of people paying 4000€ for the 5 and 6 car sets, so in that aspect I feel lucky that I didn't pay nearly as much for my 10 car set

@RaulTrainzGamer You said in a resent comment you're going to Japan to look for the final 6 coaches of the Tenshodo 500 series? 6 or 10 years a I find a guy in Switzerland who paid like 4000 Euros for 16 cars.

I've been gone for a long time, but I figured it's time I post what I've been working on for Rails Unlimited now that they're released. I'll begin with this general tweet, and then make a thread of each train in particular. Let's begin with the TGVs #ROBLOXDev

@SMcdevil I believe their RailStar is going to cost around 1300€, same price as the 500, I intend on buying it, same with their N700 P set

@RaulTrainzGamer ENDO teased the Railstar shinkansen last year in HO scale once they have compeleted the 500 V-set project. Though given how over priced their 500 is I think the Railstar set will be even more.

Following my last thread, I'm going to talk about the Shinkansen fleet I made for Rails Unlimited. These had a very rocky development history, with the first prototypes being made all the way back in 2021. I'll post these in the order they were originally built. #ROBLOXDev

@SMcdevil I own two of the old Jouef Atlantiques myself, which are essentially the same as the Lima Thalys, one is a "Modelliste" version and the other one is the hobby version, they don't see much running since they're DC only. Very old picture.

@RaulTrainzGamer I have the old Lima gold box model of the Thalys PBA I completed using intermediate cars from the Hornby PBKA. It runs great its just A very old model. Though I want to pre order the recently announced Jouef PBA reseau.

Deberia añadir que esta es una version ligeramente antigua del modelo de mi 440R, por eso algunos detalles no estan muy pulidos, pero es la unica version que tenia medio pintada

@entro_banda Existe alguna iniciativa por parte de terceros, pero el problema es programar, si no tienes experiencia, es muy chungo... Y claro, aunque tengas el tren, luego no tienes ninguna ruta local para conducirlo. Yo mismo quiero exportar mi 440R eventualmente, pero solo se modelar.

Los buques portugueses tendrán su versión en el train sim world... España sigue sin una ruta en ningún simulador de trenes. No será por rutas preciosas y muy míticas. Enfin...

@kristian_rector How did I not see this before? actually amazing, I actually remodelled mine a while back, using a Bachmann one instead, I'm pretty proud of it, haven't made the coaches yet though!! I haven't run it in ages, with Christmas around the corner that will change though

Today I got to meet Eddie Deezen, the know it all kid from the Polar Express, and show him my custom HO locomotive! It was a pleasure getting to meet him and he was a really nice guy!

And last but not least, the 800 series. This one I don't really have much to talk about, but at the time I didn't really build the headlights/taillights right. The extra tweets will be pics of the original versions and development history. #ROBLOXDev

I originally built the N700S wrong, as I didn't have many references as they were brand new at the time, the "Kamome" also didn't exist. I rebuilt the N700S, giving it the sharper nose and different headlights and also made the Kamome variant, which is full of logos. #ROBLOXDev

As opposed to the 700, I was VERY happy with the N700 first try, even then I still modified it by giving it extra details, as opposed to the original 2022 version I built. #ROBLOXDev

The 700 was a tough nut to crack, and even now I'm not super happy with it, it received many modifications, but after widening it I'm satisfied with it. The Hikari Rail Star is one of my best friend's favourite trains, so I wanted to get it right. #ROBLOXDev

This is one of my favourite trains in real life, the 500, so I was excited when it was time to make it. My favourite is the W set, it was so technologically advanced for it's time. I'm on the hunt for a Tenshodo set, and I want to ride the real deal before 2027. #ROBLOXDev

Now we move onto the more modern Shinkansen, the 300 Series. The original version of this was frankly pretty bad, and I'm still not super happy with this 300, but it's not bad either. Fun fact: I tried to build a 300 back in 2019, along with the N700, it was a fail. #ROBLOXDev

Afterwards, I focused on the Dream Express, the original Shinkansen, the 0 series. I made the 1964 variant, and the 2002 variant, though frankly I should've made the 1976 variant as well, these are the slowest Shinkansen in-game, but I love them. #ROBLOXDev

And the 200 concludes the Eastern trains, now we focus on the rest. Instead of beginning with the 0, I started with the 100, since I used the 200 series, I made the Grand Hikari variant first, as I love the double decker cars. I also made the 2002 variants. #ROBLOXDev
