I have something to say to all those who didn't make it into GSoC. This is a quote from a very old GSoC particcipant - "Google paid me to do it. But even if they didn't, I'd have done it anyway". That, is the spirit of OSS in it's purest form. Just because your proposal didn't make it to the program, doesn't mean that it's worthless. I urge everyone to still work on their ideas, upstream their features, and keep working on their proposals.

Sad that i got rejected 🥲, but happy that i had got lots of things to learn, think more deeply about real-world problems, apply my learnings , ty @openstreetmap ❣️

The last three months of my development journey have been the best. I learned a lot and got so focused on learning and contributing that I almost forgot to apply for GSoC. Regardless of the outcome, these learnings will stay with me throughout my career.
