Even the mailman, when I went to send the parcel, was completely surprised by it not following their reverse logistics system, not giving an Item ID, or not paying the delivery costs.

The one moment that I was unsure if it was going to work was that the process of sending the SSD back was a bit unorthodox from what is usually the formal procedure here in my country, as Kingston isn't in charge of receiving the material, and the costs were my responsibility.

The warranty was accepted and they are going to send me a new SSD that is expected to be sent to be delivered in about 5 business days. It would be great if there was a chance of getting it before the Digimon Con so I could be active during it as well.

I got the adapter (Green LED is a bit too much, but nothing I can do about it), but sadly it seems the problem really wasn't the M.2 port, but the SSD itself. I already had contacted Kingston, and it seems they accepted to receive my SSD for support, I hope it goes well.

@Windragon24 I can't be active during this time, so I won't be playing it sadly. Maybe if I get to fix my problem I'll be able to.

@Yankee_Motoharu Também. Infelizmente o tempo para o suporte acontecer é por volta de 30 dias, então ainda vou passar um longo tempo sem estar ativo. Uma pena que está acontecendo perto de eventos que eu queria usar para criar alguns materiais.

Besides getting another SSD, which is impossible as of now due to the prices, it seems the only alternative that I can try is getting a PCIe to M2 adaptor that I can use in hopes that the SSD is fine, but for some reason the M2 slot in my motherboard got a problem.

A good thing is that at least I did backup most of my data before anything happened with this SSD, so all I need is to have this fixed and I think I won't have lost anything major (Some data missing is natural, I couldn't backup everything, but I assume I did everything I used).

@Propogator So, it could be the case that the prices will only drop next year, or even later. But it's not like I can spend this entire time without a computer due to it, so I'll have to figure out something before this can happen.

@Propogator It eventually should, the GPU prices were quite high in the early 2020s due to AI and Crypto, and it's just that now the target is the other components. My problem is more due to the timing, as some manufactures said their stock is already sold out for the entire year.

I looked to see how much different is the price from the same place I got my SSD last time, and it's crazy that it's 3x more expensive. And I thought technology was supposed to get cheaper over time.

But I know that electronics might just fail out of nowhere for some random reason. I just hope that isn't the case for the SSD due to the current prices. I have no idea how long the current spike will last due to the AI Data Center shortages.

It seems these adaptors aren't very expensive, so maybe it's possible to get one. I think this could be enough if the problem is in my motherboard because I did test the SSD's health when I started having boot problems, and it was in good condition.

I didn't note that today was actually the 4-year anniversary of my blog account. The 4th anniversary of the blog's first post is on March 7th, which is very close. Interesting, had I been able to post today as I intended, it would have been a special day. I literally had no idea.

@Bobbutterbutt Naturally, since the start they were basically as much canon as they could be (Especially when it was the only active new media after Forces), but to say it was always canon is to go against the staff at the time openly saying it wasn't canon.

@Bobbutterbutt It was after this that Ian even started to say on his podcast they were canon, as it was now part of Iizuka's initiative for a singular Sonic canon. I even remember the constant comments about it in his podcast back in the day when much was in flux.

watching sonic fandom discuss canon shit or saying "oh idw is canon now" is rlly funny as someone who knows its been canon since 2018 when sega said it was on the comic's release. im not even a long time fan i just actually do research on things i like on the internet ...
