Another funny thing is this is what got me into breaking games. There’s a funny mechanic where WizPig can push you at his momentum, so if you got infront of him at any point he would push you along his set path. Characters are naturally much slower than him otherwise.

@greysnup @REN_12234 As a baseline sure but then backed it up, there’s other games out there that have consistent updates and bug fixes that aren’t just riddled with bugs. You’d also expect paid games to be near finished content wise so it’s hard to compare a mobile game dev to other games

Chat life is so much better without brawl I’m telling you. Play other games, try new things, there’s game devs who actually care and put in effort on a regular basis. Slay the spire 2 came out not too long ago, great updates and balance changes almost daily.

@REN_12234 @greysnup and the bibi bug wasnt fixed for like a month. again, its the same thing every update and people are obviously tired of it. surprised the other brawler doesnt have some gamebreaking bug that i dont know of yet thats how lackluster these updates have been you just expect it.

@REN_12234 @greysnup as for the rest of the tweet, sirius was completely unbalanced and received a huge nerf recently probably still meta, bibi came out with a buffie bug that made her practically unkillable, still very strong after that fix because buffies are just unbalanced in general

@REN_12234 @greysnup x.com/SpenLC/status/… heres a post from spen recently actually talking about the trophy reskin. its the same content every update and has been this way for years. the only thing even remotely new is the pve modes which are still just reskinned attack patterned bosses.

I’m hoping for matchmaking changes sooner rather than later or else prestige’s will die fast… Far too many matchmaking bugs, exploits ruining all the hype and skill… I’m also finding pushing is just a huge time sink and not really about skill, especially with the brawl talk I got the impression it would be like the old rank 35 system however after a few weeks it feels like prestige 3 is rank 30 level skill but takes days to grind

@Samurai_Chou not saying brawl doesnt entirely care about their game, thats a large revenue portion for the company. their update quality has for sure gone down over the years though and the latest new thing is just a trophy reskin, which people are already getting tired of after a month

@RavenOf8 Erm brawl the only few games that actually do cater about the game. Sure they not perfect and implement what's on paper wrong but they pretty goated. But 100% never fully commit to one game. There's plethora to enjoy

@greysnup @REN_12234 while the game does provide updates on a regular basis, the content in those updates is lackluster, seems rushed, and is repetitive. a new brawler, skins every update, if youre lucky a new gamemode thatll never see the light of day in monthlies.

@greysnup @REN_12234 thats the difference, brawl has updates maybe every other month and half of them are just adding a new brawler and some skins, introducing many bugs, and overall unbalance in 90% of the updates. the unbalance youd expect to be quickly fixed after 7 years of experience right?

@Toumitaa I only really played it for the community and because I played at a higher level it attracted a good crowd, but recently brawl comp and the game overall is just really stale, viewership is down, and I’d rather just stream what I enjoy and have those who watch me for me stay

@RavenOf8 yea i’m not even gonna lie to you the second i stopped playing brawl my entire life became so much better. playing for hours for absolutely no nothing really when there are so many better games. and people don’t realize the game will die one day and then what. all that time for?

@PizzaTimeXD11 Constant bugs, hackers, lack of balance changes and just overall boring for content creation (do I push ranked or ladder today). This stuff impacts comp too like a clip recently where the brawl ball teleports straight down losing that team control entirely losing them the set

@PizzaTimeXD11 It’s really insane how much of a downgrade the game is since Ryan left the team, progressively worse updates and just now fixing the stuff they broke years ago, just a downgraded version of it. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they reworked mega pig and it became worse somehow

@LilTenant_Hank I mean honestly to each their own but I for sure recommend trying out other games especially if you have a pc, so many more titles out there to play
