@lavawitch @agirlopinions Inky is still not a fan of hands, but she's very much bonded to me as well. She preens my hair, wants to hang out nearby, and even follows me around 🥰 it took a year, but with patience and respect, you can bond with most birds eventually

@RavenPresser @agirlopinions It can be challenging and parrots are complex but it happens. Our rescue macaw was traumatized and although he loved us right away it took years for him to feel stable and stop negative behaviors. He trusted us implicitly eventually. He was the best and sweetest boy.
