@raicheru3916 I really hope we both get what we’re hoping for. At the same time, the rational part of me keeps telling me that I’ve already spent far too much time waiting for this series🥹

I actually like the London Confession arc because Ran genuinely contributed to the investigation. That said, I don't have much hope for next year's movie. I remember Gosho once said he's still drawing the manga for the fans, and even back then, that felt like a bit of a red flag to me. Just like what you said the series has become more about fan service for different parts of the fandom than telling a consistent story. I guess Ran fans were never really one of those groups. 😅 So yeah, I don’t know when I’ll finally walk away from Conan, but at least I’ll know I did everything I could, so I won’t have any regrets.

I don't speak up because I expect the author to improve. I'm nobody to tell someone else how they should write their own story. I'm simply a fan who fell in love with a character he created, but over the years, I've felt that something I once deeply cherished has gradually fallen apart. I'm only here to express how I feel. @raicheru3916 To me, the manga has already reached a point where the author no longer seems to care much about the story itself. It has become a work driven almost entirely by fan service, offering different kinds of content to different groups of fans.
