Hot take: What makes a writer isn’t writing anymore. Everybody can write now. The accountant who hates long texts? He’s dropping threads on X. The guy who barely passed English? AI makes him sound polished. Crazy times indeed. Words have lost their weight. Context is the new king. Most people writing today can’t defend what they posted. They can’t explain the strategy behind it. They don’t know the audience or the intent. Ask them a follow-up question and it crumbles. That’s why simply stringing words together doesn’t make you a writer anymore. It just makes you mid. There’s a massive difference between posting on social media and being a professional writer. I don’t call myself a designer just because I generate AI images, and I won’t water down what I do either. Real writing, the kind that helps brands close deals, and build loyal communities is built on research, deep context, strategy, and intent. That’s what I bring to the table. Here's what works for me: - Post about one thing you do consistently every day. > For me, that's writing. - Write about what you observe and experience on the timeline. > Most of my ideas come from conversations and replies. - Talk about trends that naturally align with your interests. > Mine are AI prompts, AI images, systems, state of web3, etc. - Share opinionated, quotable takes. > I usually write about industry insights, AI, SEO, and relatable observations from daily living. - Quote posts that provide genuine value. > I don't care about the account size. If it's useful and it resonates, I'll quote it. The mistake most people make is trying to copy someone else's content style. We're not all wired the same way. Find the formats that come naturally to you, double down on them, and keep showing up.
