The children had lots of fun at RavenSNOW while the parents enjoyed a mulled wine and a variety of festive stalls. Santa made a special appearance also! Thanks to everyone who came or helped in any way.

Anti-Bullying awareness week at Ravenstone. Theme - REACH OUT We held assemblies to talk about how we can help ourselves and others if we find ourselves being bullied.

Developing balls skills in Year 2 including hand-eye coordination and working in pairs.

Today, at 11am, on the 11th day, of the 11th month, we remembered all those who have died through wars and conflict. The children spoke, sharing poems and some children brought forward wreathes of poppies. We listened to the ‘Last Post’ and fell silent to remember.

Year 2 learning about poetry in their new writing unit linked to their book, ‘If all the world were…’ by Joseph Coelho.

Diwali Dance Workshop this week at Ravenstone.

Today Years 4, 5 and 6 had the pleasure of an internal visit - a Diwali Dance workshop. What a great cultural experience alongside creativity and exercise.

Y2 today learning about the Ndebele tribe and the colourful houses they have. They designed and decorated their own houses using similar patterns and designs. This is part of their learning during Black History Month learning and celebrating cultures and achievements.

Today Y4 had their weekly cello lesson from the Wandsworth Music Service and were focused on plucking certain notes while singing a song.

Ravenstone is back on Twitter after the delivery of some lovely new ipads to showcase our learning across the school! We look forward to sharing lots of examples of the children's experiences at our school.

Flying the flag at half mast in remembrance of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. We are having a special assembly today with the children to share the news and discuss. May she rest in peace.
