@jhuskisson @thienlan We work very closely with organizers of @meetmagentonyc and @MeetMagentoIN. No one is talking/thinking about winning. If we make these events bigger and better, helps the echo system. NYC was 2 day event, 3 learning tracks, lot of socials/networking. It was bigger than ever.

@thienlan Similarly, it's the "we're the new Magento Imagine" theory amongst certain Meet Magento organisers. There doesn't need to be a singular 'winner'; we all need to win, and that's how we've always thrived.

The thing that is consistently the same about the Magento community is that everybody claims to have "reignited" the Magento community. It's time we taught folk that using lines like "Magento isn't dead" hurts the community/platform/demand even more and the people doing good.

@philwinkle @BenMarks @willemwigman Agreed. I have emails exchanged back in November with developers/agencies in Ukraine/Belarus about military conflict concerns and impact to the industry. I believe 200k-500k IT workers are affected. That's significant.
