If you can attain power without giving up your soul, you have won the game without losing yourself. If you achieve power while distorting your character, you've won while losing. If you remain powerless but preserve yourself, you've won spiritually but lost in every other way.

Will you scroll to escape the present, or fix the past by building the future?

The past is gone and doesn't matter – no power over it. You have some power over the future, not in the future, right now. Work towards a better future in the present and the same experience that brought you trauma and insecurity will make you feel grateful and motivated.

You already know that your past brought the certain life situation you find yourself in right now. What you probably don't know is that the present dictates and can change the past. ↓

"No prophet is accepted in his hometown" – Luke 4:24 If you want to take a different route from your familiar small minded people, you will be judged and criticized, because who do you think you are? Your growth threatens people who have no plan of changing.

Society to the masses: "Just get a job and fit in" Winners to themselves: "Acquire power to control your destiny"

Your familiar people are unlikely to support you when the odds for success are against you. The support you're looking for will come from strangers whose goals and interests align with yours.

Friendships and relationships always come in abundance, after power is gained.

When you act, be decisive. Go hard. Go all in. Play to win. Or stay out. You can't be half a gangster.

If the evil operate without rules and the good with the rules of morality, the evil will attain power faster than the good. The good don't acknowledge the game of power. This is why the world is a mess. To make your moral values matter in this world, you must get power first.

Normal people do not exist. Who we call normal are just socially programmed individuals who have conformed to a common way of thinking and acting.

Treat them like shit and they respect you. Respect them and they treat you like shit. This is true for low self-esteem people.

Average person's goal: Social inclusion at all costs Power seeker's goal: Autonomy and control over their life

You lose your value the moment society convinces you that you need to meet certain standards in order to have value.

The game is won by those who don't care about the rules. Powerful people make the rules so they stay in power.

@VonPula You're right about LSE being able to be confident. Most people never understand this. You're wrong about vice versa though. HSE cannot not be confident. It's just that their confidence is expressed differently.

Most have been screwed by low self-esteem parents. Few who didn't, got screwed by low self-esteem friends and partners. And that's why almost everyone is screwed.
