Today I did 1200 push ups… #GSET When I was hustling in 2019 to reach my goal of getting a contact, I was doing 3 workouts a day, training in ring and at one point I was doing 1000 push ups a day. I started a new workout goal this week and decided I need to up my hustle and tap into the version of me that wanted something so badly I sacrificed everything. Monday - Thursday I reached 500 per day, today I wanted 600. When I got to 600, I realized I was so close to 1000. When I got to 1000 I told myself I need to set a new bar for myself. 1200 is that new bar. Proud to say I did that. My body doesn’t look how it once did, and I can’t move how I once moved, but for what I can do, I will challenge myself at every chance I get. Greatest Story Ever Told

James Spader didn't need convincing to star in David Cronenberg's "Crash" (1996), although he was curious about the rest of the cast. David Cronenberg on why the sex scenes in "Crash" (1996) are integral to the plot: "All the sex scenes mean different things too. Each one leads to the other one. The first scene is of Deborah Unger with this anonymous guy in a airplane hangar. Then James Spader with an anonymous camera girl. They’re parallel of course. And then James and Deborah come together, f**k, and compare notes. That’s how they develop their sexuality. In one of my little test screenings someone said, ‘A series of sex scenes is not a plot.’ And I said, ‘Why not? Who says? It worked for Arthur Schnitzler.’ And the answer is that it can be, but not when the sex scenes are the normal kind of sex scenes: lyrical little interludes and then on with the real movie.
