@takeunobow Thank you for this. I just listened to it three times and totally agree with you. The effects and synth backing vocals remind me of when Matt sings through a super distorted mic or when he sings through a distorted amp.

seen ppl complaining about the excessive autotune on the new song. it's just vocal compression - not that I'm a massive fan of it either but it's not autotune (although pretty much every artist/band signed to a major label will use a little melodyne to slightly adjust the tuning)
