Yes I have. I'm here now. What the people are saying is either A) They've always been Labour but they don't vote anymore - for anyone - because they've been betrayed. Burnham built a few skyscrapers, they say, but did nothing for outer boroughs. They resent the fact that he's using them to try to become PM and they hate him for the attempted clean air zone and hotel tax. B) They were Labour but have switched to Reform because they want a party that really cares about working people, not the metropolitan elite. Maybe pop down and have a chat to local people yourself.

It suits Andy Burnham to pretend he is already Labour’s candidate in Makerfield. But that’s not true - he isn’t. Labour’s NEC hasn’t even drawn up the candidate shortlist yet. Then the local party votes. We won’t find out if he is the candidate or not until Thursday.

Wow. I've NEVER seen an interview THIS bad from the leader of a political party. Kemi falls apart here. She *completely* loses her composure because she knows the Tories got DESTROYED at the local elections. She also agreed with banning speakers at UTK The Tories are finished

A great day of canvassing with Richard. Such a fantastic Reform team in Makerfield.

Room temp steak. Season just before cooking so you dont dry it out. Smoking hot steel pan. Two mins each side. Press down and move around pan to get perfect crust. Season again. Heat off, lots of butter, thyme and garlic to baste. Leave to rest (not in pan and pour juices directly over.. If you're being fancy and using a temp gun, remove from pan at around 43/44 ºC for a perfect 54 ºC medium rare. Season again. Serve.
