Friday May 8th will be a good day for Starmer to resign. He'll have just lost the local, Welsh, Scottish and mayoral elections and if he waits until the following Monday his cabinet will start to resign forcing him out anyway. So its inevitable. On that cool and unsettled early Spring morning he'll order his staff to dust off the lectern and place it outside No 10 and the world's press will watch the departure of one of the most unimpressive prime ministers the UK has ever known. I wouldn't be surprised if he has already drafted his resignation speech blaming it all on someone else.

I lived in the United Arab Emirates for 12 years and never saw anything like this. Why was it necessary in Trafalgar Square? What was it trying to prove?

If Starmer won't answer direct questions at PMQs, MPs should have the right to treat him as a hostile witness and he should also be sanctioned by the speaker. That's no different from how Starmer would have treated an evasive witness in court. PMQs has become a mockery.

Hellish day in A&E. The doctors and nurses are working flat out but the constant stream of patients is just too much. When I was a kid if you went to A&E you saw people with broken arms and bloody eye patches, things cut off or sticking out of their head. Today it was just people who couldn't get a GP appointment. Why do we not have enough doctor's surgeries in this country? Is it financially unviable to run one, too expensive to become a GP, or no longer a sought after career? What the hell is going on?

I was in A&E at the latter part of last year before being admitted. I was on a trolley in there for 24 hours & the number of people who whilst waiting to be seen would be nipping out for food & a fag was incredible. I required & received immediate life saving treatment whilst others just hung around or got bored & wondered off for yet another fag. Very frustrating.

@lucybrazier Absolutely spot on. We were having a chat the other day and everyone admitted they had stopped watching due to the clear bias and Bruce's interruptions.

It’s called Question Time. The format is supposed to be that the audience ask questions and the panel answers. Fiona is meant to moderate. Week after week, she interrupts, talks over people and aggressively pushes her own agenda. It’s becoming almost unwatchable. #bbcqt

A lot of the far left have been responding to this post with disgusting rhetoric claiming that the opinion of older voters is irrelevant. Unfortunately this is evidence of the continued cultural decline of Britain. We used to respect our elders, but now, for some, there is only hate towards those who have given us so much. I know they're only saying the things they do because they can see the British people shifting away from their nonsense and it scares them. Whilst they struggle with their morals we will continue returning to traditional British standards of respect and decency.

I always thought Reform could win the next General Election, but after tonight's Rally in Swindon I KNOW it. Nigel Farage got a standing ovation as he walked into this beautiful theatre but when he walks down Downing Street as PM the whole country will stand up. #reformpartyuk

@Telegraph Actions speak louder than words. We have a PM who promised so much on the steps of Downing Street but he's too frit to take real responsibility and do the right thing and step down.
