If you’re hiring a composer, this is absolutely ‘normal’. If you want to know why, have a look at the cost (for example) at merely one of the top-quality sample libraries you’ll need us to own in order to create the music for your project. Plus computer, speakers, food etc etc

@TrendOrchestra Might have to be the way we approach things if we can’t get things working but as it’s a long term collaboration I’m really hoping we can get to a point where we can work in midi with a shareable project.

Having issues with Logic Pro. Considering switching… I collaborate with another composer. We both have the same Mac Studio - M1 Ultra 128GB RAM, same version plugins, same libraries installed. However when working on a shared project there’s performance/compatibility issues.

@RayBrooksMusic Nuendo has networked collaboration...you can open the same session and commit changes; have not used that in a long while though. But yes, like others said, ensure libs are setup correctly and batch resaved. Afaik Kontakt stores local paths, which can differ on separate machines.
