@everythingDDG Drake has surpassed MJ. MJ is a legend though, it’s just time to pass the torch. They’re both going to be the greatest artists of all time at the end of the day
FULL: DDG and DuB get into a heated argument with their homies after claiming Drake has officially surpassed Michael Jackson’s legacy as the greatest artist of all time 😳
"...Drake got more number 1s... Michael Jackson fell off when he was 40, in 2010 he was irrelevant..."
Drake's "Make Them Cry" officially breaks the all-time record for biggest streaming day for a hip-hop song in global Spotify history (13.2 million).
It surpasses Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us".
@DeepCutTheory@thatguy_Ty6 A paid bot account can be permanently terminated while caught. No one paying for an account is going to waste money doing that. Free accounts are where the bots are
They talking about pure sales because they don’t wanna talk about how he’s the other artist that can do 400K-500K just by streams🤣
Not only that, the pure sales were digital not actual physical, Kendrick can’t do that💀now that YouTube stop counting he’s not doing 300K🤣
@RayGuardian@thatguy_Ty6 No, you didn’t. As already stated you gave me social media posts who also provided no proof. AI should be taken away from people like you. You ask Google the same question in a different way it will give you a different answer.
@RayGuardian@thatguy_Ty6 A paid stream represents a higher financial value. If they’re using a stream to make a sale equivalent, then it makes sense for when the listener is calling PAYING to listen it’s worth more.
@RayGuardian@thatguy_Ty6 Ok show us the data you’re pulling from to make that conclusion. For starters you can’t even prove that there were botted streams, and I know you haven’t done any math on it. You’re just saying what you want to be true.
@DeepCutTheory@thatguy_Ty6 No it’s reality you just gotta face facts. Why would they not count non paid the same as paid if it wasn’t to keep pure streams from inorganic?
@RayGuardian@thatguy_Ty6 Yes its rules on paid v non paid streams. Which has nothing to do with bots. You made that connection up in your head.
Even if that were true (it’s not), it doesn’t change the reality that the other streams GNX got first week would get him more sales under current rules today.
@RayGuardian@thatguy_Ty6 And there’s no proof he botted any streams at all, on any platform. Majority of the streams come from Spotify and Apple Music, which now get more sales than they used to.
@DeepCutTheory@thatguy_Ty6 And the reason that was made was because YouTube had bots. It’s better to count real accounts that people pay for than accounts people make day of to promote their music. It’s been a way to counter botting
@RayGuardian@thatguy_Ty6 Ray you have no idea what you’re talking about, you literally just made that up. YouTube were not made to be excluded. They made the decision to stop reporting to Billboard because they didn’t agree that non paid streams should be worth less than paid ones.
@RayGuardian@thatguy_Ty6 Drake’s numbers are not at all relevant to that question. You seem to be forgetting that the value of a stream has gone up since GNX dropped. Yes he loses the YouTube streams now, but the other streams are worth more.
