Year 3 were visited by Dr Birdi and her dental assistant Ms Mimi. We discovered some interesting facts- our toothpaste has to have fluoride in it and it sticks to the teeth to ensure that they can remain strong. #RLPS #opportunities

British Science Week- The school was buzzing with why, when, how and what questions. We were scientists- participating in a range of tasks. We watched live BBC science sessions and created our own paper aeroplanes. Tim Peake spoke about space and his experiences. #STEM

British Science Week- EYFS Understanding of the world. Reception investigated solubility, diffusion, and density with warm water and skittles. Nursery were a part of fizzing fun watching the Baking Soda and white vinegar experiment! #aspiration #opportunities

Queen Mary's University Year 4, 5 and 6 studied air pollution in the playground and how it affects their health. Breathe air quality monitors were used, PE lessons led by West Ham Foundation and fun hands-on science sessions were led by the Cell Health team. #cherishproject #QMU
