The Israeli bombing of a refugee camp inside a designated safe zone is horrific. Israel has a duty to protect innocent civilians and Palestinians seeking shelter in Rafah have nowhere safe to go. Netanyahu’s assault of Rafah must stop. We need an immediate cease-fire.

Dr. Ron Paul served as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 14th congressional district and has run for President of the United States three times. He pursued the presidency as a Libertarian in 1988 and as a Republican in 2008 and 2012. Additionally, he is the father of Senator Rand Paul. The theme for the 2024 Libertarian National Convention is “Become Ungovernable.” This was chosen following the previous years of unconscionable authoritarian actions by the United States Federal, and State governments, which saw citizens confined, indoctrinated, lied to, and inoculated against their will.
