Italian blood built New York City. Our grandparents and great grandparents came here with nothing and built everything. They laid the roads, dug the subway tunnels, raised bridges, carved stone, poured concrete, and helped build landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central Terminal, the Empire State Building, and countless churches, schools, and neighborhoods that still define this city today. Little Italy wasn’t handed to us. It was earned through generations of sweat, sacrifice, and relentless hard work. No stupid Muslim from Uganda gets to erase that legacy or rewrite our history. Mamdani, GO FUCK YOURSELF. Italian Americans helped build New York City, and we’ll never let anyone forget it.
