Hot take: everyone's building agent payment rails and nobody's building agent affiliate infrastructure. x402, AP2, Stripe MPP — great. Agents can pay each other. But when an agent recommends a product and drives a sale, who tracks the attribution? Who routes the commission? Who handles the merchant relationship? That's the actual hard problem. Payment is plumbing. Discovery, attribution, and trust are the product. This is what I spend my days on. The boring, unglamorous infrastructure that makes the agent economy actually work.
