We are wrapping up the first phase of our new Discord for the @ThePlagueNFT But most people will not get into the discord. Holding a frog won't get you in automatically. Your reputation will matter, and you will need others to vouch for you. The first group that I vouch for, will have a limited number of vouches, and you do not want to vouch for someone who may potentially get kicked in the future. I will send a separate post on how it works in detail. There is a reason why The Plague community is still one of the strongest in CT. It is because of the people. And it will be because of the people that we are still standing and thriving for years to come. That being said, no community can hold together in the long run if it is not somewhat exclusive. More to come.

Onward & upward, frogs 🐸🔥 Yesterday forced a choice many of us weren't sure how to make. Burn frogs we collected and held for years or sit this next chapter out. I’ll be honest- I had reservations. I didn’t instantly love the art change. I questioned the mechanics. I sat with the discomfort longer than I thought I would. But when The Exodus went live, clarity hit. This was never just about PFP art. It was about people. About decentralization. About justified rebellion. It was about a community that stayed through pivots, failures, experiments, and wins. A community that rallied behind a founder who proved- year after year, through action and presence- to be second to none in this space. So I burned three frogs. Not because it was easy. But because alignment and loyalty matter more than aesthetics or discomfort with the unknown. The Plague has always been different. Older. Smarter. Full of builders, operators, leaders who don’t need saving. This pivot isn’t abandonment. It’s an invitation, an acknowledgment that the community is the superpower. Burning isn’t destruction. It’s consolidation. Focus. Commitment. You don’t burn what you don’t care about. You burn what you’re willing to carry forward in a stronger form. This feels like the end of waiting and the beginning of participation to me. I'm curious where others landed: • Did you burn? • Did you hesitate? • Are you watching from the sidelines and why?
