My 1st regionals for any card game was in Peoria same time last year with a finish of 193rd. I love One Piece so much that I picked it up as my 1st TCG to ever play 2 months prior in February 2023 in a new city (moved from SoCal to Las Vegas year prior) and met some of the most amazing people. This past weekend I set out again to Peoria with the hopes of finishing top 64th as my 1st goal to hit this year and blew right past that to finish 14th! I’m super proud of myself and thankful to the Las Vegas OP community for always helping out anyone when they want to improve. Shout out to Las Vegas Yonkos for the coaching they started offering this year, they really helped me elevate my gameplay and work towards becoming better. MASSIVE shout out to my Donquixote Family LV for taking in a newbie card player with no prior card experience and helping him grow and overall being the best group of people a guy could ask for. Shout out to @mik0let and the Phantasma crew, I have finally feel like I’ve earned my spot 😅 And lastly thank you to my incredible fiancé who lets me travel and compete while staying home to watch our 3 furry beasts 😭 love you Lorraine 🥰 My ultimate goal this year was to win a serial and I have so much confidence I can accomplish that by years end!

Making bans in under 6 months of game release might be an indicator of poor design I've said it before and I'll say it again: there needs to be a study done on how fortunate Riot Games is that LoL was successful, especially given how abysmally they handle everything they touch

@xPhoe_nixx Yes. We had somwthing similar with RP law whwre Maria made him BDIf and a t0 format. They banned law before we got Maria It wasnt banning a set card but did ban a deck that was a problem bc the set

I’m super thankful to be able to get 2nd place in one of the first One Piece Regionals with the new Serial Luffy. It was a great tournament and I had a blast playing against some great players. I’ve been fortunate enough to lock in a sale for my ungraded Luffy for $30,300 earlier this week. While some people might have better deals lined up, I wanted to help other top 8 competitors make more informed decisions regarding the sale of their prize cards.

Mesquite regionals Am I trippin or during round 9 we had 5 undefeated? I watched one of my previous opponents who was x-1 pair up into the 5th undefeated and lose (confirmed it with him) and the other 4 played like normal. Round 10 started and there were only 2 undefeated? When I’m pretty sure it should have been 3? Anyone else notice this?

Idk about that I played BY Luffy for less than a month before gecko ban and everyone said I was so good and a natural I wished I picked it up earlier 😂😂 Me on Purple Enel on the other hand… I’m shit at it.
