NAG Thirsty Thursday discussed the development of this canola 43Y23 at Balla, emerged on the 15th April, 30% flower 2nd June, has been flowering for 38 days, aiming for 70-80 days flowering, has had 85 kg/ha nitrogen to date, approx 240mm YTD rainfall @EldersLimited @csbp

We took our young folk and the possibilities for the future with embedding in field trials etc to test existing regimes is a next step for us. Highly recommend.

Flowering 43Y23 sown pre Seroja (11th April) at Balla. Grower still seeding wheat, probably a bit late for the second spray of glyphosate😳

@E2Shaun We’re at the watch and monitor stage and order some for just in case? Will check again tomorrow. If the crop was bigger wouldn’t worry so much. Pretty patchy post Seroja germination here, want to look after what is coming up.
