You're missing something. Musk has lived and worked on the edge of failure his entire life. Both SpaceX and Tesla have been on the verge of collapse. But Musk pulled them through. His determination and will sets him apart from us normal folk. It is why he is very likely to succeed where others have failed.

It's astonishing to me how cocky he's being, if he had a shred of historical awareness he would see that he is in an extraordinarily dangerous position.
