A snowy view over the commanding officers house at #Vindolanda fort just south of Hadrian’s Wall. The stone trough in the foreground sits inside the private latrine room which must have been rather chilly in winter. #Hadrianswall #archaeology

Next four Acorns on my section brought in for repainting. These have been replaced with freshly painted ones. Well into Wall mile 24, all hopefully will have been repainted before the 2024 walking season starts in May. 🤔
