grandma bear suddenly passed away yesterday. it was completely unexpected and my entire family and i are devastated. since she was living with us, i had the privilege of having a close relationship with her in my adult life. she was always one of my biggest cheerleaders and always tried her best to understand and be involved in what i was passionate about. she reminded me to have fun, to laugh, and to always take care of myself. she aged with grace and kindness despite having so much turmoil in her life and i will always look to her as an example of how i want to be when i’m older. she loved that i am able to be bear and she would always tell me that “the people on my streaming” were very nice. she watched both of my debuts and would tell me how she loved seeing me puppet the model. thank you for letting me share even just a little bit of her with you through the stories i told on stream. she was an incredible woman and i’m going to miss her so much. if i’m off or lower energy when i get back from break, this is why. i’m going to be spending a lot of energy continuing to support mama bear and papa bear as best as i can. i will keep trying my best to make my dreams happen not just for me, but so i can honor her memory and her support too.

i'm graduating! (FROM COLLEGE!!) i wanted to write a sappy thank you message to all of my friends and community, because i wouldn't have been able to do it without you. ❤️ i wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me over these last 3 years of being bear. i haven't BEEN bear without being in school, and i think i am uniquely lucky that i have had so many people invested in me and my dreams. speaking as the person behind the model, i think having this many encouraging voices pushing me forward is a privilege i wouldn't be able to have without becoming a vtuber. going to and graduating from a prestigious art college has been a dream of mine since i was in high school. i pushed myself in unhealthy ways all in the name of becoming a better artist, getting into the best school, and because i wanted SO badly to work in the games and animation industry. i've managed to do all of those things in my own way, which felt impossible even four years ago. but on top of that, i managed to stumble into finding a new passion of mine and an amazing community on the side that quite literally helped me put food on the table during my time in school. i am so incredibly lucky that i was able to cultivate such a kind and supportive community that i could lean on in the short time that i had to give to them every week. 2025 was quite literally the worst and most insane year of my life, and there were honestly times where i felt like giving up in both art and streaming. but i couldn't and i didn't because i had so many people cheering me on: my friends, my family, and you- my coven. going down the path of being a professional artist is insecure and i'm delusional for thinking i can do it. despite all of that, you believe. you believe in me, you believe in my skills, my passion, and that i can make it. you show up in chat, in the comments, you like and repost, you take the time to make fanart. so many of my friends have offered to support me and my content by making me 3D models, drawing art for projects, and making clips for me. i have received kind, heartfelt messages saying that i've inspired people in some way when i feel like a hack and like i don't know what i'm doing- but you believe in me anyway. becoming a witch vtuber was a whim of mine that i didn't think too deeply about, but you have shown me that magic can be real if you just put your kindness and heart into the people you believe in. i am so lucky that a silly decision that was supposed to be a hobby ended up helping me through school, brought me so many new friends, more confidence, and new goals to chase. as for the future, i will be going basically full time on vtubing and art commissions while i bulk up my portfolio and look for a job. we'll see what happens! 2026 is the year of bear taking the training weights off, because you haven't seen me at my full power yet. i will keep working hard to make everyone proud- i just selfishly ask you to keep cheering me on and supporting me! thank you for helping me believe in magic and giving me the chance to add just a little more color into your day.
