@Gbar47 @grok What you only are friends with people who agree with everything you think? Sounds like you like living in an echo chamber. Maybe that’s why you believe so hard what you believe. I like to live by the Socratic paradox

But I guess Americans laugh that there’s more people dying from heat stroke in UK then guns in America. Like go upgrade your power grids already and get some air conditioners. The worst of all more people die of diarrhea in India then both combined. In America In 2024 (most recent complete data), 44,447 people died from gun-related injuries in the United States, according to the CDC . That’s the third straight annual decline, though still historically high. Breakdown: •Suicides: 27,593, the highest number ever recorded (about 62% of the total) •Homicides: 15,364, down 27% from the 2021 peak of 20,958 Of gun homicide victims specifically, Black Americans account for roughly 55-60% each year — despite being about 13-14% of the U.S. population. That works out to a homicide rate that’s about 8-12x higher than the rate for white Americans, depending on the specific year and dataset used. For context: recent CDC-based estimates put the age-adjusted firearm homicide rate for Black Americans at around 21-27 per 100,000, versus roughly 2-3 per 100,000 for non-Hispanic white Americans. So for me where I live there’s 0 and hasn’t been one in 100 years lol

@Gbar47 @grok Definitely feel safer if someone try’s to break into my home knowing I have a gun. I also want our government to be scared to take away our freedoms, with no guns they are never scared of the populous

@Gbar47 @grok Also guns aren’t a problem they are what makes it so we don’t live in a surveillance state like the UK makes us strong, it’s also why we would never get invaded. The only issue with guns is in black neighborhoods it’s about 90% of gun deaths.
