@Sole111224 Animation doesn't have to be drawing a bajillion drawings. You could animate a single drawing with Adobe After Effects, or do component-mesh-deformation-animation, ala Live2D to bring your drawings to life if you're prepared to cut them to animate.

@TouhouEnjoyer_ @tohofuny That would be harder to do for Linux - given the ecosystem fragmentation. I think these days you can statically link musl as your libc implementation, but other things are going to be a pain. If I'm having to write a lot of dlopen and dlsym code, I'm generally not happy.

Fun fact, you can buy a whole-ass chicken for less than $10. 2 chicken breasts, 2 tenders, 2 drumsticks, 2 thighs and 4 wings. That's more or less food for 5 days for one person. Side dish? Get a potato which goes for $1 a lb. Or buy a 3lb bag of rice which can last you about 1.5 weeks.

Every year the government puts more air in the marshmallows. They look way bigger but if you eat them it's way smaller. Eventually people will figure out you're better off eating now because tomorrow they could pump them up even more. Yes you could invest (the analogy breaks down) but most people are not going to be able to get to that level of thinking. Saving is hard enough. Investing is beyond them. Inflation is the theft of even the most basic deffered consumption benefits.

Hmm... There's a lot that I've been taking for granted in my usual cozy C# development environment. That kind of issue would be seemingly impossible to run into, because of the way string interpolation checks the type given. To manually trigger it, one would need to deliberately reinterpret cast pointer types and then dereference them as the wrong type. C is just... The opposite of batteries included.

I firmly believe that so long as the two of them are able to productively talk things through and negotiate with genuine sincerity where vulnerability isn't exploited that there's nothing external that can't be worked through and overcome as a challenge. This is itself predicted on the pair having a maturity of mind plus a compatible worldview and culture of life - which is much like you say here.

OfficeはMicrosoft Officeオンライン版とONLYOFFICEの2つがインストールされている。ONLYOFFICEはUIも含めてMS Officeにとてもよく似ているので無料で利用できる選択肢での移行先としてはとても魅力的だと思う。日本語対応も問題ない。 WinuxはベースがUbuntuなので若干重めな印象。インストール直後はアプリケーションの追加インストールやアップデートをするDiscoverアプリが起動しなかったり若干完成度に不安があったが、Terminalでaptを使ってシステム更新することで問題が解決した。 Windows用アプリとの互換性にも配慮されていてWinboatやWINEなどもあらかじめインストールされているので、安心して試すことができる。これ新しいWindowsだよって言って渡したら信じる人いるんじゃね？ってくらいよくできているので、移行を考えている方は試してみるといいかもしれない。

Winux 11 をインストール。ほぼ完全にWindowsぽく外観を整えたGUIがすごい。これマジでKDE Plasmaなん？ってびっくりする。アプリケーションもデフォルトブラウザがLinux版のEdgeになっていて、日本語選択してインストールすればFcitx5-mozcが標準インストールされ利用可能になっているなどWindowsからの移行がとてもしやすい作りになっている。（続く
