Ora che ho finito le recite posso dirlo. Negli ultimi giorni è uscita una polemica qui in Spagna per un articolo di un sito che si chiama Beckmesser. Il giornalista di cui ignoro il nome scrive che io avrei detto di non voler più cantar in Spagna. MAI detto una cosa simile. Amo il Teatro Real il Teatro Liceu e il loro pubblico. Ho solo affermato che non sono molto amato dalla critica,niente di più. Qui chiudo tutta la sterile ed inutile polemica. Gracias! Ahora que he terminado las actuaciones, puedo decirlo. En los últimos días ha surgido una polémica aquí en España por un artículo en una página web llamada Beckmesser. El periodista, cuyo nombre desconozco, escribió que dije que no quería volver a cantar en España. Jamás he dicho nada parecido. Me encantan el Teatro Real, el Teatro Liceu y su público. Simplemente dije que no soy muy popular entre la crítica, nada más. Doy por terminada esta polémica estéril e inútil. ¡Gracias!
