I believe it is in everyone’s best interests to pass a clean continuing resolution as quickly as possible so the American people can have confidence that the government will be open and government employees will receive paychecks.

Funny if you look at the dem platform of the Clinton era it pretty much lines up with the populist right. Old Clinton speech-MAGA

@SamRobGFC @RbrtDaul @EricLDaugh Then don’t vote for him. Pt is that DSA is as much your problem as it is ours. If DSA represents 5% or 10% of Democrats, then no1 is switching anything. But if they represent 40-60% of Democrats, or even 25%, then the current 2-party system is finished & realignment will occur

I support voter ID and believe that only U.S. citizens should vote in our elections. But the SAVE America Act goes beyond that and provides no time for proper implementation. We have 4-5 camps & it will be chaotic until the camps align into 2 new parties as happened various times in history. Moderate Democrats will not migrate into Republican Party AND embrace its platform

@SamRobGFC @EricLDaugh Of course we want him to flip to Republican. In no way can you allow the Dems to control any branch. People’s views change over time. Hell, Trump was once a Democrat and there are numerous other examples.

@SamRobGFC @EricLDaugh What you really mean is that you don’t want millions of us migrating into your party & diluting your platform, but that’s 1 way that things could go. The other way is the Democratic party ultimately splits in half, which also will cause your party to change. Parties evolve.

@EricLDaugh Fetterman is a Democrat, a moderate Democrat but always a Democrat. If he flips parties then he becomes just another RINO and the GOP already has far too many of those. While flipping parties may be good for him, I can’t see the benefit to the GOP.

FACT CHECK RATING: False. Officials have repeatedly said election infrastructure remains secure. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said there was “no evidence of any malicious activity” affecting the integrity of the 2024 elections. CISA also said the 2020 election was “the most secure in American history,” with no evidence that voting systems deleted, lost or compromised votes.
