@AlecStapp This chart is adjusted for inflation from 2017 dollars…. The physician fee schedule has decreased since then and is never increased for inflation. There is certainly an argument that can be made in support of more doctors, but please do not spread intentional falsehoods.

A question for those who have taken the @USSONAR_Rh course As a rheum/sports doc trained in MSK US in sports med fellowship and use it almost daily in practice, would you recommend the basic or advanced course? Advanced with synovial biopsy sounds interesting, thoughts?

@CMSGov on 2023 final physician fee schedule addenda the CPT codes 76881/76882 now don’t have TC/26 modifiers despite being present previously. Any ideas why?

@NU_Rheum_MSK_US This seems like a higher prevalence of extensor paratenonitis than I typically see in my RA patients.

Amgen's Enbrel & Abbvie's Humira compete. But not really. One month after Abbvie hiked Humira monthly price by 7.4% to $5968, Amgen boosted Enbrel monthly price by--you guessed it--$7.4% to $5968. This isn't competition. This is shadow pricing & it hurts patients/consumers.

80-95% of systemic sclerosis pts will have GI involvement. Can try reglan/erythromycin for gastropareisis and octreotide for SI, none great.

Lone Anti-SSB+ is not of diagnostic significance, often due to reaction to contaminants. #rheumedu
